Today at the headquarters of AME was signed the cooperation agreement between AME and JICA Japan for the implementation of the Early Warning System of Mountain Fire - NFFIS and Reduction of landslides from ecological methods ECO DRR. This project will be implemented in a 5-year period where JICA will finance and assist with experts in its implementation.
In this signing event for cooperation participated Mr. Jiro Takeichi, Chief Representative of JICA Balkan Office and Mr. Mitsunori Ogasawara, Acting Ambassador of the Japanese Embassy in Kosovo.
The Director General of AME thanked the Japanese state for the will and confidence expressed in support of Kosovo for capacity building in the field of emergency management and expressed readiness for support and cooperation towards a common achievement.
